Okay, this story took me by surprise with how good it actually is. Based on the summary, I was expecting a rinky dinky romance, but the depth of the characters and their experiences and the overall character building and development was surprisingly well done! The author did a great job bringing these characters to life and really making you care about them. Even the side characters had some background wich is surprising to find and romance books like this. While I’m not a fan of Joel Leslie as a narrator, this is one of the better books narrated by him. Overall, I’d recommend this book.
