Based on how amazing the previous five books were, I had high expectations for this one, and I was not disappointed. I have shed tears, exclaimed in outrage, laughed myself into a coughing fit, gasped in horror, and cheered out loud several times while reading this book. Matt Dinniman’s story and world crafting had me so enthralled, and the cast’s performance had me so engaged that I now have fallen behind on my shows that I usually do a good job keeping up with, and I’ll need to catch up before episodes start expiring. Honestly, this book was so full of crazy on the edge stuff, the thought of how messy the next book is gonna get scares me, but I’m so here for it. My only regret now is that I am finally at the most current book as of this review, so there is no going to the next book for me. I’m afraid of putting too much detail of what I enjoyed about this book for fear of spoiling things, so I’ll just say well done to all involved who made this title such a spectacular listen that kept me spellbound from beginning to end.
