In The Distance, Jeremy and Hilaree Robinson deliver one heck of an alien invasion/apocalyptic story that feels like a hybrid mix of the film version of War of the Worlds and the best of what The X-files. The story jumps back and forth between two of the last survivors on earth as they struggle to survive and understand what has happened. Tense fast paced action. It’s just a great story. The title of my review says it all, WOW!.
Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa both deliver great performances and I look forward to checking out more of their work in the future.
