throughout this series, the authors insist that the recession/housing bubble of 2008 was a ‘black swan event’ and no one could have predicted it. I disagree completely. I predicted the collapse of the housing bubble, based on my understanding of previous history–the Dutch tulip bubble, the French Mississippi bubble, the British South Seas bubble–and watching people buy modest 3 bedroom houses for half a million dollars, confidently predicted that the value had nowhere to go but up. (Those houses are still nowhere near half a million. )
Overall, I love this series. It keeps getting better!
