I’m really divided on this. In most circumstances half of it was good and half of it was bad, hence the three stars. I guess I’ll begin with the pros.

Pros
– As a registered male, it’s kind of fun to put yourself in a situation where multiple women surround you
-I like books were empires get built, executive decisions get made, and it might collapse at any second
– I did get some really good ideas from this for projects of my own
-does a good job with making you frustrated over injustices and bureaucracies
– made me think how I would treat slaves ( not well)
– if this were an anime, probably would be amazing

Cons
– unfortunately this isn’t an anime, it’s a book. So plot holes and fallacies that you can get away with in anime, you can’t get away with here, where I’m supposed to think everything out
– The narrator has one of those higher pitched nasally voices, which you might argue is required since he does girl voices, but he can’t even do them remotely well, voice of the main dude and the Butch chick sound exactly the same.
– stop it with the points
To elaborate on the point system. Not to say measuring someone numerically hasn’t worked before (best example dragon ball) but that takes some of the mystery out of people, there is no middle room, no hidden points, it’s like medichlorian in Star Wars, and I’m very confused, what is this like a video game and a screen came up, did he have google glasses, am I missing something?
– so, his slaves can’t stab him in his sleep because magic?
– sometimes the only thing that got me to refocus on the story was the radio effect on the voice
– i would’ve slapped the shit out of the leprechaun if she ever backtalked me

Things that I’m not decided on:
-The main character, as some other people have said, was amoral and pretty bland. But I don’t know it was kind of fun with him once he was the CEO dude.
– first half of the book is terrible, second half of the book is pretty good
– narrator should be banished to radio commercials only
And that’s about it, still haven’t decided if I want my credit back or not.
