I was a little concerned because the end of the last book was flat and left a lot to be desired. Wintersteel made up for it in many ways. While, I’ll admit, some of the uncrowned fights could have been included in the last book-this definitely held my attention a d kept it the entire way through. Great character development with the Monarchs and plenty of surprises. Great job!
