I enjoy stories of this genre and this one does a great job of creating a picture of the collapse of society as we know it. The heroine is a formidable protagonist that deals with threats & situations in a collected manner (exhibiting the skillset & thoughtfulness of someone twice her age & with 3x the experience) but also suffers emotional distress while encountering set-backs & accidents/disasters that hamper her progress & require constant adaptation. Good story. I was entertained.
