This could have been great. The story was a great premise starting out but the further and further into the book, it just kept getting more and more ridiculously complex. Then like many authors now he has to get into social justice warrior mode. Racist, genocide of the Indians mansplaining. And my favorite part about how nothing good has come from religion..and giving the examples of the Conquistadors, Nazis and of course the ever popular White Supremacy as examples. The pre human that looks like a dinosaur with telepathic like abilities near the very end. It was like he was making things up as he went along and just kept stepping deeper and deeper into it. And the main character is Special Forces who can’t shoot that well…..
