It is like the author forgot which series he was writing. The book has so much needless drama and annoyances that never really feed content into the story. (God books where everything goes wrong are annoying)
The entire book was shallow, and dramatic for the sake of drama and nothing else.
Hopefully the next book improves and reverts back to an interesting formula otherwise it will likely be the last book I purchase from this author.
