I’ll keep this simple. The main character, Finn, is just beyond boring. The character has no emotion and the author brings up his tragic past, which he gets over in all of five minutes once he gets into AO, only to make him seem less robotic.
The supporting characters are just as bad. The antagonists have no personality and the dialogue is unexpired.
The world has promise, but if the characters have no substance, then it taints that world.
I won’t be continuing this series.
