This is another awesome book by Lily Morton, and is the kick off to a string of books, that are all awesome. This is DEFINITELY not your usual romance though. It feels so real because the situation is so realistic and heartbreaking. All the things Gabe has gone through and all the awful things he puts Dylan through is hard to listen to, but yet you know it’s because he simply can’t help the way he is, and it makes for the conclusion that much more wonderful. Sometimes it hurts to listen to the sound of Dylan’s heart breaking but the love is so so deep and real, and when it all comes together, you can’t help falling in love with Gabe as well because he becomes the person you so wished he would allow himself to be for Dylan. His character grows even more as a person in Jude and Asa’s novel, and I literally get chills when I think of his beautiful words to Jude there.
