1st, William is my favorite LitRPG author so this is heavily biased. I started out with SSOSH. I wish I’d known about him sooner. This was his debut and I’m sorry I was late to the party. His writing is eloquent without making the reader feel undereducated. The plot is immersive and was super engrossing. The character development of the supporting characters is timed well. My only personal opinion is that the main character is a bit unrelatable. His choices and mine would not align. Don’t get me wrong, Runner is a great MC and very likable.
Additionally Jeff is and always shall be an A+ narrator. He brings the characters to life like few other can.
My only concern is that I can’t decide wether to continue this trilogy or jump back to Wild Wastes #3.
