this was an absolutely amazing adventure. the Va was perfectly suited to the book, his pacing was on point and the voices spot on. the in depth analysis and information if how cultivation, corruption and essence works is wonderful, the world building is immense in and of itself despite being an off shoot of the dd series. I was sad to see dale go but have found a new protagonist to get behind. it’s been a while since I have read a book that could sway you mind and soul to feel as the characters do and I cant wait for more
