I enjoyed listening to Kelly and Ashlyn’s story, which showed how the town manwh0re and the town virgin went from acquaintances to husband and wife. The story was very long but did a great job showing the progression of their friendship from couple to getting married and the struggles that come with two people learning how to live together.
I enjoyed the new to me narrator David Allen Vargo. This was the first time I had listened to him, and though he did a great job overall, he had a rocky start in the beginning as there were some inconsistencies with the character voices; however, he got so much better as the story progressed.
The one component of the story that I did not like was the addition of sound effects. They weren’t consistently utilized throughout the story and, at times, sounded as though they were recorded via phone recording and a bit warbled.
