I picked up this series, probably like most of you did because you saw the title and thought “huh”
What started off as a series that was how much bull crap can Carl go thru that’s humiliating has turned into a story of dedication, perseverance, the pain of losing loved ones, betrayal, and so so much more.
This one has been the best out of the series so far but all of the series has been voiced fantastically. The voice actor takes the fantastic writing and truly makes every character feel alive. From carls exasperated sighs to poni’s sudden shrieks to Samantha’s oddly endearing threats to kill everyone’s mothers.
If you are a fan of rpg stories this book is for you absolutely. But let’s be honest here you’ve probably already got this and have just finished it yourself and your desperate for more. Hang in their fellow listeners and be patient! The next book will be here before we know it and we can see what the hell donut has gotten her party into this time. In the meantime everyone stay safe out there! Excelsior!
