In Las Vegas, Cendrine West (a journalist by profession, a witch by birth) and her aunt find a dead body which they believe was a murder. They decide to investigate, while Cen attempts to keep her family secret a secret.

This is the second book on the Westwick Witches series. It is stand alone so you wouldn’t need to have read the first one to follow the story. There is mystery, suspense and comedy interwoven in the clever plot, as well as some witchy spells that add a supernatural element.

The story was a nice and easy listen. It was a great way to relax and enjoy some time to unwind from life. Petrea narrated very nicely and was a perfect fit for the story.
