For the life of me I cannot see why this is so popular. The author may want her character to say they’re not siblings and he’s not grooming her but he sure is. I could have read about them being step/foster siblings without all the minute details. The fact that he’s there from her day of birth. Living and growing up with her… it’s so icky. And it’s not even an age gap issue. It’s an incest issue. If this book cut out or just glossed over all the formative years, it might have worked. But reading from a child’s pov was not it.
Also please the ages and how they behaved at those ages… real kids would not do those same things. Like she either made them act way older or way younger. Im convinced she hasn’t been around many young children.
