I really wanted to like this book. I forced myself through 20 chapters only to come to the realization that I could NOT tolerate any more of the story.
It is aweful. The plot is nonexistent; just a wish fantasy. The characters are less than 2 dimensional cutouts.
The author’s talent as a writer is valid. I will admit that much. There was nothing that stood out as a weakness or lacking of skill and/or talent. It’s just the story was very bad.
I would definitely try another book by this author.
