Dungeon Crawler Carl, Book 2 is everything I hoped for and more! As a huge fan of the first book, I couldn’t wait to dive back into this insane world, and boy, did it deliver. This sequel ramps up the action, humor, and high-stakes challenges in a way that’s even more fun and chaotic than the first.
Carl and his trusty cat, Princess Donut, are back, and their banter is just as sharp and laugh-out-loud hilarious as ever. The world-building continues to be top-notch, blending insane challenges with just the right amount of strategy and unpredictability. There’s something so satisfying about how Carl navigates this brutal dungeon with wit and heart.
What I love most about this series is how it balances intense action with genuinely funny and heartfelt moments. The stakes feel real, but there’s always time for a ridiculous cat moment or a clever solution to a problem that Carl somehow pulls out of nowhere. Book 2 deepens the relationships and adds some great new characters while keeping the pace super fast.
