Malina’s voice acting and writing almost made be quit reading this. She was bad in the first book but insufferable in this one. The VA is definitely inexperienced given how bad the other voices she does. But even worse that is how the writing shows the author really knows almost nothing about how people deal with trauna and ptsd it results in Malina having some sort of split personality disorder. She both sounds like a teenage girl despite being a victimized 100+ year old being. Ok rant over. The rest of the book is alright though the red tiefling ruler of the city is beyond one dimensional. I do enjoy Chris as a character, though he is hardly present in this book.
