I looked over several of the bad reviews and it made me very hesitant to start this book. Everything that happened had solid reasoning, the music added a nice little touch without being too overdone and the battles painted a very vivid image.
My only 2 complaints are me just being picky.
1.) The “s” sound on words can be a bit extra and does occasionally cause me to physically recoil at their sharpness.
2.) Like all the books before it can take a solid 30+ seconds to go over stats and abilities. Sometimes this happens several times in a short period. I’ve just changed my skip to 15sec to adjust for the mild annoyance.
Overall I think it was a great listen and did the series so far justice.
