First of all Kevin Pierce brings all books to a new level I really enjoy his work.
Now, why was there a 20 min diatribe on the importance of shelter animals? And why with all the preps is Ripley whining about taking what needs to be taken? I half expected her to lecture every one else.
The character was very aggravating. I doubt if book 2 will be any different.
