My second time with a LitRPG. Still bad. Still huge chunks of a somewhat slow robot voice reading out stats windows, right before the protagonist summarizes the salient parts anyway. Ugh. And why do all LitRPGs assume you’ve never played a video game and explain everything in excruciating detail? Including the dungeon crawling. Also the story seems generic, one-dimensional *ssholes mistreat you so you better start stacking up bodies. I bailed after 4-5 hours- Less than the length of one dungeon crawl.
Just find a D&D comedy podcast like Dungeons and Doritos or Acquisitions Incorporated. This ain’t it man.
