Balance is not for the faint of heart. It is a taboo romance, and not a sweet one. There were many times I wanted to throw my phone, but I loved it. I also learned a lot about the gymnastics world. We have kova and Adrianna . In this book Adrianna is 15 kova is 32, kova is also Adrianna’s coach. Adrianna doesn’t have the greatest relationship with her parents, but she loves gymnastics. Kova own’a a elite gymnastics school, and as a favor to Adrianna’s father he excepts her in his school. There were times I though Adrianna wasn’t up to everyone else’s level, but she wouldn’t give up. Day in and day out she gave her all. I felt the frustration for her. By the end I felt like she had improved, but kova let his feelings take over and made a stupid decision. Balance is like a inside look into the gymnastics world, with a affair thrown in. There were some hard spots for me to listen to, but I couldn’t put the book down. It’s definitely worth a credit. Sara did a great job! I felt like she nailed her Russian accent. On to the next book!
