- What made the experience of listening to Quarter Share the most enjoyable?
- The overall pacing of the story and lack of high drama that let you meet and learn about each of the characters on the ship in depth.
- Who was your favorite character and why?
- The lead Ish as he moves from a sheltered life of a teachers son to being on this own and having to make his own way.
- What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?
- I enjoyed the subtle changes in voices and styles as the story progressed.
- Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
- Several times Ish reflects back on fast things happen. He seems surprised by this as his lack of experience in the world shows.
- Any additional comments?
- Ish, Pip and Cookie have a great way of working together and it makes for some fun moments. There is a lot of light-hearted moments in the story. Yet the side goings on at the various docks adds to the interest. This is not just a story of a crew on a starship!
