I am in chapter 19 of book one, and have not a clue what is going on and where this is supposed to go. All the significant moments are completely lost on me because I have simply no clue why they would be significant. I actually had to Google to know that we are apparently switching worlds back and forth with the stories.
The magic system has not been explained in any form or way. The writing is weak and at times, humble brag comes to mind. Oh, I don’t know if I will actually ever finish this.
