What the heck was this?

This is what happens when an author only writes for long world count instead of good storytelling. I’m considering dropping this series.

– so much filler

-boring af

-the MC went from smart in the earlier books to just brainless. Doesn’t make his own decisions anymore.

What the hell was this? I’m actually dreading 8. Why am I dreading 8? It will be the last chance then if it’s bad, I’m dropping and will never buy a book from this author again.
