As a fan of the zombie apoc genre, one of my favorite narratives is the actual beginnings of the outbreaks then the fall of civilization. Desperate people coming to grapple with events around them as step by step, everything falls apart. Too many books in this genre start months or even years into the apocalypse. This book doesn’t and tells five very good stories from start to fall. Best zombie apoc I’ve listened to in quite a while.
