Amish vampires! Who would have thought??? Adam and Annalise’s story sucked me in from the very beginning. I never thought that Amish vampires would intrigue me so much, but this story works in a brilliant way. Vampires hiding in plain site where no one would think to look. It’s brilliant.
Adam and Annalise’s calling is one of confusion and attraction and so much in between. This vampire world is so different and yet so much the same as the mortal world. I loved the idea of two souls created for each other. This story sucked me in and I couldn’t stop listening. These vampires carved a spot in my heart and I can’t wait to read more about the others in the order. Kudos to you Ms. Michaels for such an original storyline. Love it!
The narrator does a great job with the story. I would have loved an masculine Adam, but Ms. Gainey does a good job on both sides.
