The main character, while bitter and morose is amusing in a caustic and sociopathic manner. While the storyline is straightforward, it feels as though the entire trope is meant as a middle finger to all the readers and listeners. The greatest tragedy of all is that the author takes to much time reading reviews rather than doing something productive like writing to next book.
