The concept is fascinating, however everything about the execution of this audiobook stunk. The dialogue was stilted and amateurish. The performance was lackluster and monotone. The book ends in a ridiculous place. It is as if the author wrote the entire story and then realized he could make more money by turning it into a series, so he just chopped it apart. I usually like to see a series through to the end, but I’m content never knowing if the end game was complete.
