Honestly, I didn’t like it at first. The story felt like it was rushing a little and things kept happening for seemingly no reason. But it makes perfect sense by the last chapter – I’m glad I stuck with it!
Instead of having an unwilling hero, a shy timid adventure loving boy, or an on-the-edge thrill seeker that meets the love of his life…we get Jack.
I found myself agreeing with Jack even though I normally don’t live/play that way.
