Dungeon Crawler Carl is about as crazy as the cover suggests, I had passed this book over several times while looking for something new, not for any particular reason but as most of you reading this know, so many books come out in this genre that you have to be pretty selective. After reading a few reviews, checking out how many books had already been written (3), if the author was still actively writing (you know how often series in this genre go unfinished), and searching some other online forums this book kept popping up as a must. I finally took the plunge last week and I couldn’t be happier! Carl and Donut are fantastic characters who almost anyone can relate to in some way or another. The story is fast paced, the dialogue is hysterical! and Jeff Hays does a fantastic job narrating (as usual). It was so good that I went and downloaded the next book on Kindle and have already finished reading that too! Now I have to wait a week for my pre-ordered of the third book to come out…Can’t wait until the audio books are released so I can dive back in!
