What a hoot! I am a huge fan of well written Cryptid stories  and “Smart-Ass” stories. Books like Seanan McGuire’s InCryptid series, Jim Butcher’s Bigfoot novella’s, and now, Mason Dixon, Monster Hunter.
I fell in love with Mason Dixon (a YouTube vlogger) right off the bat, as he’s tracking down a locally known, infamous Gowrow (a cryptid). With, Emma his trusty camera crew of one, they find themselves deep in the wilds of Missouri, confronting a problem…a man-eater!  
With our sharp-tongued, titular character, and lots of action, this tale plays out just right! You may also find a Sasquatch, and a Chaw-green… Yeah, it exists in folklore (I had to look it up though) LOL!
I see that the 2nd and 3rd books have been released, but I’m gonna hold out for the audio version, hopefully Joel Froomkin will be narrating them, because he’s won me over with a marvelously Fun performance!
Mason Dixon, and all those things Cryptid will leave a smile on your face… but only if you get the book!
