I listened to only a small part of Unsouled and knew I had to buy the rest of the Cradle series ASAP while it was on sale because I already was already in love with Lindon. I love an underdog and his humble attitude with his hunger to becoming more than he dreamed could ever be possible just sucked me in. I’m on book 5 and can barely wait to commute or do something that will allow me precious time with Lindon and his magic world.
There’s times I was rooting so hard for London and his friends, times that my heart and stomach were shook at the danger, worried that it would be the end for the likeable characters who enter into the story along the way. Most of all, I laughed at the witty comments from the characters. Each one had a very different personality and it didn’t take long to figure who was speaking just by the conversation.
Narrator… he did a pretty good job as well so far but I could definitely look forward to seeing this story as a movie for sure.
If you’ve ever been the least or rejected but still yet believed in the impossible, you love overcoming immense odds, then this book is for you. If you don’t believe in those things, get this book anyway and maybe, just maybe, an overcoming spirit in spite of the odds will rub off on you too.
