The narrator did a great job and I enjoyed listening to this book.
This was my first ever vampire Amish book. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I went In completely blind. I loved the FMCs strong will and the fact that she didn’t change herself to the mold the MC was trying to get her to fit.
I loved a lot of things about this book, but some things just didn’t sit well with me. The obedience and the different rules the MC kept trying to put on her. I just didn’t like it. I also didn’t like how everyone turned a blind eye to one of the secondary characters getting physically abused by her husband.
The ending was really good though. I wasn’t sure if it was going to turn into a love triangle, but thankfully it didn’t. I’m happy they got their HEA and I am hopeful the secondary characters get their HEAs in the coming books as well.
