I am absolutely in awe of what the author has done with Daniel and Rory’s story. The story is beautifully written, and while listening to it I felt surrounded by a cloak of magic.

I loved how different the tones are in the different POVs, Rory talking in a more old-fashioned style and Daniel’s POV reflecting his modern, twenty-years-old self. And Joel is his usual amazing self whit the voice performance.

I love how Daniel grows into himself, setting aside his self-doubts and embracing who he is meant to be.

The Salvatore family is a constant presence in the book, so it’s probably preferable having read the previous books first… and if you haven’t, go right ahead and do it! They are amazing!
