Unfortunately I do not drive and cannot abide T.V. so Audible has been my godsend for the past 15 years. In that time I’ve listened to hundreds of books and found some Authors and Voice Performers who will forever stay on my favorite list. It appears that Franklin Horton and Kevin Pierce will join them. I’ve just listened to the Mad Mick and crew in their first three volumes. I listened to them in one sitting with timeout for 6 hours of sleep. These books are pure fun punctuated by heart stopping battles with really nasty opponents. There’s no trashy love scenes or unnecessary vulgarity to fill pages that could be used as this author does. The characters are believable and really are humans in a terrible place. There’s no super hero’s or paranormals to save the day, just one rascal Mad Mick. I hope the next Box Set is here!
