Excellent book written and performed exquisitely.

This is the kind of unbiased analysis I was looking for, as a former D1 college scholarship pitcher in the early 80’s and now the father of a 12 year old son. I had not updated my knowledge base in 30 years and was pleased to find out that my decision to keep my son away from the “organized baseball machine” until he can receive proper guidance and protection was justified. He has played basketball and rugby in school to avoid the parent coaches and we have tried to emphasize all around life balance starting with his brain or “ear muscle” as we call it. By current estimates he will be 6’4″ to 6’5″ and I talk to bewildered parents who are shocked to find out that I played College baseball and my son has never played organized baseball at at all, let alone join a “travel team”. I am reinforced by this book that if he has any ability to play college or beyond he can develop his body for overall health and maximize his time as a kid while not hurting or even enhancing his chances by utilizing programs like Driveline which are science/research based and actually build muscle and skill while protecting the athlete. I like that it would also translate to any throwing or hitting sports and the science behind it makes for another learning experience.
