This is the second one in the series that I have read, and I actually enjoyed it more. The cast of characters was a little more focused. I enjoyed the details about tactics and firearms and had genuine empathy for both of the main characters.
I only wish the narrator would have studied up on pronunciation of Mexican, Spanish terms, and words. It would’ve been more authentic had the narrator been able to correctly pronounce the Spanish words he was reading. That is my only complaint.
