Pros
Enjoyable story filled with action, drama, and suspense. Great character development showing growth, mental instability, and forgiveness. The story is a 5 but I took off a star due to the narrator performance.
Cons:
A bit long and took awhile to get going. The biggest problem is with the narrator’s performance during the first half. Jeffrey gets better as the book moves along but the first 5 hours Jeff drags the end of his sentences. Extremely annoying the first half of the book. If I didn’t like the story I would have given up the first hour. My last issue with Jeff is his vocal range. There’s about two dozen characters with speaking roles and 17 of them sound the same. Again the narrator performed better the later half so I bumped his score from a 1 to a 3.
