I’ll just start with an absolute Asterisk-Ampersand-Exponential-Explitive you to the author for that ending. In a good way.
I cannot 5 star anything but the performance (for its blind authenticity) but the trilogy is absolutely worth the experience. There are a number of little inconsistencies that stood out too much to me for a perfect score but I have to recommend despite that.
If you enjoy a different perspective among this ongoing throng of LitRPG novels then this should be your next stop.
Suspend your disbelief for a moment and embrace a world where despite your best efforts, an alien instinct constantly afflicts your decision-making. A desperate will to survive and overcome for reality blending bit by bit with fabricated primal instincts of the same underlying nature.
Would you lose yourself to such perspective? I imagine I would.
