Well read, poorly written.

The narrator does a very good job of reading the material.

However, I find the story to be very cliche and unoriginal. I’m completely unable to relate to the character and find most of his conduct to be confusing, counterproductive, and hypocritical of his own morals. I’m 45 minutes in and can go no further.
