Adding my vote for A.O.

Am a fan of the first series, so was looking forward to this. The start of this new series is already my favorite. The protagonist in the first series is a teen, but in this series is a cranky, old fart. He is cranky because he has experienced “life”, which makes him much more relatable for me.

The story is great, well written an immersive. However, I get enjoyment from the metaphysical questions the author raises via the story. Wow! These issues have created some lively family discussions about where VR tech could go and it’s ramifications.

Books that tell a good tale AND make you think are the best.

Great job Travis! Please, bring us the next book!!!
