The 20 or so hours go by fairly quickly! As with all of the books in this series, there are some aspects of the story that are fairly easy to see coming. That said, it is a genuinely fun read and the author does a fantastic job of inserting little unexpected tidbits that will surely come into play down the road.
For what I thought it would be when I picked up the first book, this world has evolved into an appreciably complex story with a very respectable attention to lore. I really enjoy that the main character is brilliant in a way that doesn’t seem unfairly overpowered.
The acting team now includes 3 voice actors, which honestly helps tremendously in keeping
Loved the twist at the end!
