This book just seemed rushed and disjoined. Transitions between scenes are weak, plot seemed forced and authors notes shouldn’t be read by narrator. If context needs additional description it should be done within the context of the story not inserted as a note. I am hoping this is a bridge book to better things, the first two were good books where this one is weak. It almost seemed like authors beta/alpha readers are to close to the book. I read this book first and then listened to audiobook with hopes my opinion would change and they got stronger.
