dropped it after first 30 mins. seemed trite AF. picked it back up in a “meh EF, already paid for it and got nothing else” moment.
Ends up, it’s a late “hook set” book. the’ MONO TONE’ VA actually grew on me. but the story is what really drew me in. nice anti-hero style with a “just different enough” take on the lit-rpg genre to reel me in.
8.75 outta 10. worth the listen.
