Narration was great although the book has a lot of flaws. MC is weak and has no fighting skills, this doesn’t change by the end of the book. Very little character growth throughout the book. No real villain in the book, just creatures. There is good world building but still very limited due to the book being so short. Magical system is weak and nondescript. The plot is interesting though.
