Compared to the other books in this series, Brothersong was a meandering, sappy re-hashing of all the past relationships. I almost DNF but pushed through for closure.
This story could have been cut by 75%.
Much of the dialogue was irrelevant – or the mushy musings of the prior, dead characters. I consider this book superfluous to the series. Lagniappe really.
