I was genuinely confused at how short this story is. I wondered if I had missed a bunch of chapters, but no, just super short. The story feels incomplete. Like, after the MCs confess, then what? The story had so much potential. Almost seems not worth having listened to the beginning because it feels like I stopped a book a third way in. Anyways, the narrator isn’t my favorite. I don’t care for the undulating voice of Joel Leslie. Honestly, I’d just skip this book. Wasn’t really worth my time.
